RFC COMMENT TEMPLATE

Point to the text. Name the risk. Suggest the fix.

The RFC template keeps feedback useful, public-safe, and tied to the actual bill-form draft rather than private family narratives.

Do not send private case facts.

Redraft personal experiences into general process issues. Do not include child names, medical records, allegations, sealed filings, private school records, or confidential court documents.

1. Optional role/context

Name the perspective if useful: parent, attorney, mediator, educator, municipal official, safety professional, researcher, voter. Do not identify private family members.

2. Draft section reviewed

Cite the section, heading, or phrase being reviewed so comments can be mapped to the text.

3. Concern or risk

Explain the safety, due-process, operational, cost, constitutional, or plain-language problem.

4. Suggested replacement language

Offer replacement language or a precise edit.

5. Reason

Explain what risk is reduced or what clarity is gained.

6. Source/support

Add official sources, statutes, public reports, research, or implementation examples when available.
